Perennial ~ Height 60-90cm ~ Frost Hardy to -6C

A beautiful and robust herb with anise scented leaves and bold spikes of light purple flowers all summer.

The leaves can be added to drinks or salads or used to flavour pork and other meat dishes.  Fresh or dried leaves can be used to make a refreshing tea.

Anise Hyssop is a good long flowering border herb. It is an excellent herb for bee keepers as it is an especially rich source of nectar during the flowering period.  It is also attractive to birds and butterflies.

Prefers rich moist soil in full sun. Protect young plants from frost.
