A highly aromatic basil with bright green leaves and small white flowers from summer to mid-autumn.

This basil is well known for the unique flavour it gives to tomato and pasta dishes. It can also be used to make pesto sauce. Add towards the end of cooking to preserve flavour.

Prefers well drained, moist, medium rich soil and full sun. Place in a warm and sheltered position after all frosts have passed.

An excellent container plant. Keep outside in hot weather to develop the flavour.
