An old medicinal herb often grown now for its striking brilliant blue and red flowers which open over a long period. This herb plant looks particularly attractive grown en masse.
No longer commonly used in herbal medicine Viper's Bugloss was traditionally thought to expel poisons and venom.
A good drought tolerant plant which is attractive to bees.
Prefers light well drained soil in full sun.
